Our Story
Why we started Trace Resource.
India generates over 500 million tonnes of waste per year. A fraction of it is formally tracked. Regulatory compliance is fragmented across dozens of portals, hundreds of rules, and thousands of manual processes. Companies spend crores on compliance teams - and still face penalties and reputational risk.
The founders of Trace Resource saw this first-hand - working at the intersection of environmental regulation, enterprise operations, and technology. The problem wasn't intent. It wasn't resources. It was the lack of digital infrastructure.
We built Trace Resource to be that infrastructure. Not a tool on top of a broken system, but a replacement for the broken system itself. A platform that makes compliance invisible - because it's automated. A platform that makes sustainability measurable - because it's data-driven.
